I-TERS izoxhasa izisebenzi eziwu-2 982 unyaka wonke kanti lokhu kuzodla uR417 million. Loku bekuzobe kulungile ukube kunento ecacile yokuthi ekugcineni yini ezokwenziwa ukuze umsebenzi uqhubeke kodwa akubonakali kanjalo. 

I-Arcelor Mittal  isinqume ukuyivala ifemu emva kokulahlekelwa wuR1.1bn ngonyaka odlule. Le nkampani isivele isizwe yi-Industrial Development Corporation ukuqhuba umsebenzi. Umbandela wokusizwa nge-TERS uthi kufanele le nkampani iqhamuke nezindlela zokushintsha izinto kodwa ngesonto elidlule le nkampani ibiqhubeka nezinhlelo zayo zokuvala ifemu. 

Lama femu e-Arcelor Mittal akhiqiza okusansimbi okusetshenziswa kojantshi, ezimayini, kwezolimo nezinye izimboni. Uma bezingenzeka izinguquko ezinqala ezidingekayo ukukhulisa umnotho, cishe umkhiqizo wale nkampani  ubungafunwa kakhulu. 

Isibonelo nje wukuthi uma kungaguqulwa imboni yokuthutha izimpahla, loku kungaheha abatshalimali abakhulu abangafaka imali kwingqalasizinda yezitimela ngokusebenzisana kukahulumeni nemboni ezimele. Izinkampani ziyawa zonke izinsuku ngesikhathi zilinde izinguquko ezinqala lezi ezidingekayo ukukhulisa umnotho. I-Arcelor Mittal yiyo esematheni kodwa baningi nabanye. Uma sizosebenzisa imali yomphakathi, asiyisebenzisele ukuguqula izinto ezizokhulisa umnotho. 

UmNyango wokuHweba, iziMboni nokuNcintisana usushicilele isiphakamiso sawo sokusungula isikhwama esiwuR100bn sokuguqula izinto i-Transformation Fund. Nalapha futhi, uma imali izosetshenziselwa ukuxazulula inkinga, kufanele siqinisekise ukuthi le mali izoqhamuka nesixazululo esibambekayo. 

Inselelo yalesi sikhwama wukuthi kufanele sitshengise ukuthi sizokwazi ukukwenza loku, ukuxazulula inkinga ngendlela efanele. Ngeshwa kuloku okushicilelwe, akucaci kahle ukuthi iyiphi inkinga exazululwayo.

Yize sonke sikwamukela ukuthi uguquko kufanele lusheshe, ikakhulu ekuthuthukiseni izinkampani, izingqinamba okufanele kudlulwe kuzo zinzima. 

Kulinganiselwa ukuthi u-70% wamabhizinisi amasha eNingizimu Afrika ayawa ngenxa yezizathu ezihlukene ezinjengokuntula amakhono, ukungakwazi ukufinyelela emakhasimendeni nokungakwazi ukuthola imali yokukhulisa amabhizinisi.
